The cherry blossom trees in the courtyard (right outside of my studio) are blooming!  So beautiful and inspiring – I love this time of year.  Great day to be outside and enjoying the weather.

Little background on Nena:  She was adopted from Lost Dog & Cat Rescue back in June 2013 and we’re so glad she’s a part of our lives!  She’s a chihuahua and rat terrier mix from Puerto Rico.  Nena is a Spanish term of endearment for “little girl.”  Check out Lost Dog & Cat Rescue if you’re in the DC area and are interested in pet adoption!  We love them!

I love this time of year – for me, the blooming of the cherry blossom trees around the Tidal Basin means Spring is here.  It’s a beautiful time to be in DC!
